About This Organization

1796411_864567023553398_8916152874813172398_nWilling Hands distributes free, wholesome food to people in need. They pick up donated food, primarily fruits and vegetables, that might otherwise go to waste and deliver it to local human service organizations and collaborate with them to provide nutritional education. Willing Hands has developed an efficient system for food recovery and distribution. They arrange for regular pick-ups with over 25 food donors and deliver to at least 55 organizations every week, all year long. 2016, Willing Hands delivered approximately 250 tons of food to our neighbors in need. 93% was fruit and vegetables. Willing Hands also offers a popular series of Taste-Testings and Cooking Workshops.
