About This Organization

10314523_10152090295205906_8821006028963569854_nThe Mid–America Organic Association (MOA) continues its mission to provide producer and consumer education and training about the value of organic and sustainable produced nutrient dense foods. MOA additionally provides marketing networks for their member farmers, connecting the producers with the buyers of their foods- high end chefs, consumer/eaters, and wholesale and retail markets. The primary tool used by MOA for providing the education and marketing networking is through its annually hosted MOA conference, which draws farmers and consumers from across the Mid-America region. MOA has expanded its 3rdParty VISPS Program to include verifying NON-GMO, Chemical Free and Transitional-to-Organic Crops, Never Ever Livestock, and Handling Operations’ resulting in 3rd party assurance for the consumers the food they purchase and eat is truly clean nutrient dense foods.
