About This Organization

998674_596873107010797_1538914662_nprovides support and networking for food pantries in the Mid Coast area.  Monthly food pantry meetings, technical assistance and training, and a clearinghouse for resources assist the 14 local food pantries and soup kitchens to increase their capacity to serve families in need. The Coalition was established by the United Way of Mid Coast Maine, and is housed and staffed at the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program.
