About This Organization

bg-1-107313The Campaign for Food Justice Now encourages citizen advocacy and community engagement to address social justice issues and improve food and agriculture policies across the U.S. The Campaign mobilizes advocates from across the food movement and broader social justice movement to advance public policies that support the right to food and push for food system reform. The Campaign’s founder, LaDonna Redmond, says their work “applies race, class, and gender” to the food system, confronting underlying themes of social justice within the food movement through community-based solutions, promoting social change, and engaged advocacy.
