About This Organization

Restaurant Opportunities Centers (ROC) United fights to improve wages and working conditions for restaurant workers. ROC mobilizes workers, employers, and consumers to move local state and federal policy, support ‘high road’ restaurateurs, and help workers move up career ladders into livable wage jobs in the industry. Their Diners Guide to Ethical Eating, as well as their many dozen books and reports on the industry, help to raise awareness about inequality, instability, and opportunity in the restaurant industry.
