About This Organization

68468_506070096071923_1730224220_nReal Food Gulf Coast aims to grow a sustainable food economy along the Mississippi Gulf Coast by increasing knowledge about the importance of local food, agriculture, nutrition, health, and community strength, while also promoting sustainably produced food accessibility and affordability within their community. In conjunction with Christine Carroll, the founder of Culinary Corps, and they have organized a 10 week educational course for children called Grow: Cook: Dine, which teaches children how to grow their own food, cook it and then eat it in a social setting with family and friends.
