MESAS coordinates research into emerging trends and technologies for best sustainable practices, serves as an information service to help farmers have access to the tools they need to make the best decisions possible for their operations, and conducts pilot projects such as our Sustainable Year Round Agriculture and More Maine Meat projects to build strong local supply chains that provide fresh locally produced food for the consumer.
