The organization works to promote food security and offers nutrition programs such as the Healthy Kids Communities Initiative and the Jefferson County Health Action Partnership. They also host annual events such as Empty Bowls and MCH Feeds Birmingham, which bring together several communities in the Birmingham area to address hunger issues that plague the city.
