About This Organization

1800275_803554619659595_1514597442_nThe Kids Cook Monday initiative encourages families to set aside the first night of every week for cooking and eating together as a family. The program provides free resources to encourage kids in the kitchen and family meals including toolkits for parents and educators as well as recipes and a weekly educational newsletter, “The Family Dinner Date.” The Kids Cook Monday School Program is designed to be an affordable way for schools to encourage home cooking and boost family engagement. The Kids Cook Monday is a program of The Monday Campaigns in association with Johns Hopkins, Columbia and Syracuse universities.
