About This Organization

FEC_LogoFooter256pxThe Food Ethics Council works with businesses, civil society and governments to unblock intractable problems and shape emerging issues, by examining them through an ethical lens. The Council focuses on organizing policy workshops and seminars, holding a business forum for food executives and working with other civil society organizations to advocate for sustainable changes to food systems. One of their current areas of focus is building a food citizenship movement, helping organisations in the sector shift away from a narrow consumer mindset to a broader citizenship mindset, with all the opportunities that opens up for shaping a fairer food system.
