About This Organization

Eat Smart Move More South Carolina (ESMMSC) is a private, statewide nonprofit dedicated to positively impacting the health of all South Carolinians by improving access to healthy, affordable foods and safe places to be physically active. Founded in 2007, ESMMSC fosters collaboration at the state and local levels to build and support sustainable policy and environmental changes that make the healthy choice the easy choice. ESMMSC’s focus areas include advocacy, youth engagement, community action, and consumer awareness.
