About This Organization

1779201_692164867493000_1303389272_nEat Right Montana (ERM) is a diverse group of individuals and organizations who have come together with the common goal of providing consistent, science-based nutrition and physical activity messages to all Montanans. Since our beginning in 1992, ERM has grown and come to understand the necessity of collaboration and partnerships. As a coalition, ERM offers our partners: • A common goal • Coordination of efforts • Consistent communications • Shared resources • Shared responsibilities • Diverse partners • Networking opportunities • Opportunities for action. In 2017, Eat Right Montana plans to continue their Health Hero Award program, and has initiated a mini-granting program to offering to attend or plan a professional training or conference that supports nutrition or physical activity in their Montana communities. They celebrate National Farm to School Month by participating in Montana Crunch Time, along with school children across the state by crunching into locally grown apples at a designated day & time.
