555468_10151122697184570_1914210673_nThe Community Food and Justice Coalition (CFJC) promotes the basic human right of access to healthy food. CFJC, originally a program of the Community Food Security Coalition, offers several programs that advance the regional food system and open communication on pressing issues. The People’s Food Justice Summit, Urban Farmer Field School, and Kitchen Table Talks are all part of an effort to bring healthy, affordable, easily accessible, and sustainably grown food to all. The Kitchen Table Talks bring community members together around a shared interest in food, providing a space for people to talk about their concerns related to food access and affordability.
