The organization aims to recruit, train and support young growers by connecting passion and interest with experience. Their year-long Aspiring Farmer Residency program supports resident farmers with a place to live while they learn how to develop a sustainable market farm business plan and grow crops on several city plots of land. Other opportunities include a 5-session Growers Academy on specific homestead gardening topics, school field trips and collaborative events with community partners.
