About This Organization

60955_114769638581493_3045707_nThe Baltimore Free Farm is an urban agriculture project that works with nature rather than against it and presents an alternative to the conventional commercial food system. The Farm’s garden spaces provide free plots to community members. Every Wednesday, the Farm organizes a food rescue mission, saving 300 to 500 pounds of would-be wasted food, and redistributes it to communities in need.
