About This Organization

Ag Innovations is helping drive the global good food movement to its next level through carefully designed and effective collective action that engages communities, businesses, and government. We are food system collaboration experts who are working on issues as complex as water security and efficiency in the American west, pest and pesticide management in urban and agricultural settings, and food business oriented economic development. Our work is time tested. Our California Roundtable on Agriculture and the Environment is now in its 12th year and is California’s most respected venue to resolve conflict and find opportunities between ‘aggies’ and ‘enviros’. This year the Roundtable will focus on Farm Bill reform, building a bio-economy, and creating a modern framework for regulating agriculture. We are leaders in the application of systems leadership and systems thinking to the challenges of food and farming. We offer a range of intellectual capital building programs on facilitation, systems thinking, and working in collaborations. We work primarily as consultants to leaders who seek to unlock the capacity for deep change that is embedded in their organizations, communities, and networks.

    ABOUT THE GUIDE

The James Beard Foundation, Food Tank, and Valrhona, along with a prestigious advisory group of food system experts, developed the “Good Food Org Guide.”

This definitive Guide highlights nonprofit organizations that are doing exemplary work in the United States in the areas of food and agriculture, nutrition and health, hunger and obesity, and food justice.

Only nonprofit, scholarly, and municipal initiatives have been selected in order to spotlight efforts that are focused on community building and engagement, advocacy, and service.
